Information on a camera?

I have a Casio Emilim Z60 digital camera that was given to me it uses the same memory card as the camera I have now, my problem is without either memory card in the camera works great but only holds about three pictures, but when using the card I already had and the one I bought for it it always says error in memory card but my exsisting camera gives me no problem with either card, if anyone could help I would appreciate it, because I really would like to use this camera but with more than three pictues of course and the video recorder on it also, thanks
