Help decide on new Heat Pump?

im not answering all your questions just the important one 90% of the time the leak is in evap coil not the heat pump address that first h/p should last 20 years with proper maintence if it aint broke dont fix it unless this truted friend is a HVAC tech that does it for a living i would not do it go with a rheem 10 year warranty around $2000 depends on size tons depends on avalabilty of replacement evap coil if not avalible you have to replace a/h tax credit for whole system
