How to make figure skating/Baton Twirling costumes??? PLEEEEASE help!?

My recommendation would be, if you're going to sew your own dress and you want it like a figure skating dress, use a pattern. You can start with the pattern as your base and customize from there. I've used the Kwik Sew patterns and they sew up really nicely, plus they're multi-sized so you can mix and match sizes to create a custom fit.
