Transformers; what can you expect and why diss it ?

I loved the transformers cartoon and i talked to another transformer guy who explained why they changed it so much. bumblebee cannot be a vw beetle and the porche cannot be a porche because of politicial correctness. they are german cars and the movie makers did not want to offend any people from WWII. granted the cartoon was after the war, but that is "supposed" to be the biggest reason. if general motors is a major sponsor that could be another big reason, there may be other reasons for the changes, but from what i've seen there is too little information to support any conspirecy thoeries just yet. this is the most attention the transformers have had in twenty years, it could be worse they could make a thundercats movie, why make judgements on the movie before we've seen it? how many movies have they made that stay true to the original show? lets wait to watch the movie before we trash it. it might surprise us all.

Workshops for the elderly similar to those for the MRDD?

My grandmother has been asking me to help her to find someone who could start up a workshop for the elderly in her area. There are senior citizen centers, but she says they only have activities like bingo and cards. She'd rather do something more productive, like a job. She was wondering if there were any programs similar to what the MRDD workshops offer, where the elderly could do odd jobs to help to get them out of the house and keep them from becoming depressed. She wants something to keep her mind young. Currently she feels that all she has now are crossword puzzles. Are there any such facilities? If not, who would she need to speak with about starting one up?

Aid sent creates laziness and complacency?

The only positive out of africa is the abundance of natural resources otherwise i dont know, i feel that people are mostly lazy and depend easily on food and money aid sent by the westerners. I know there are many issues like war and drought etc but tell me one country in this world where there isnt drought, floods and famine? What makes africa so much special? If aid is the most important thing for westerners then why did they ignore china and india all this time until both of these countries fought their way to the economic freedom?

What shoudl I do ? Is it too late for me to go to the courthouse to file the paperwork.?

Ok you gave her written permission to move out of state but not out of the country. She can get into some real trouble doing that and could lose custody if she does and you can tell her that. You can sue her for breach of contract if the agreement between you two spells out everything; support, visitation, etc. You can stop her from leaving the country with your child at least. As long as shes still in country its never too late. You can charge her with federalparental kidnapping if she leaves the country and there is no where in the world she can hide where the law wont find her and especially your child. Good luck

I need reasurance?

i'm 15 and i constantly worry, i feel twinge inside me when my mate mentions something that i didnt tell her about or something, but then again, in my heart, i dont regret a thing, is this normal for teenagers to get anxious? please just help.

Help for autistic child "danger" awareness?

Well I will certainly go and read that, I have 3 children myself and one is a very hiper little boy and does not know the word danger. I am always outside with my children my oldest is 12 and she hates it, but she understand my youngest is also 8yrs old, and teachers have a hard time with him in school having to keep him sitting down, but what I do with my younger boy is that when were out and about now this may sound rude and stupid, but my mom told me she had to do this with my brother and he learned, but its like a dog leash ok, it goes around your child like a harness, and you attach a cord to it, again may sound rude and stupid and its not a pet, but my son learnt that he could only go so far from me, and when I saw something dangerouse I give him a little tug and he would fall back on his bum, now he is 8yrs old and when he sees certain things he remembers falling on his bum that hurt and is starting to realize if he goes near something or tries to touch something he thinks about his bum and how it hurt, its getting better each and everyday, but I know some ppl would say I am not doing that, and I say do not kick it unless you have tried it, and besides you asked for advice, so here is mine.
